Welcome to Cub-O-Rama!

We are thrilled to have you join us for a day filled with Scouting adventures!  Cub-O-Rama is completely free and provides a fun experience for Scouts without any costs attached. Meals and snacks are not provided, so we kindly ask that all participants bring their own lunch. To ensure we have enough volunteers and resources, registration is required for all participants.

Bring Your Six Essentials:

  1. Water
  2. Snacks
  3. Flashlight
  4. Whistle
  5. First Aid Kit
  6. Sun Protection

Schedule of Events

  • 9:00 AM - Flag Ceremony
Our troop volunteers will lead the day with a formal flag ceremony, complete with color guard and full calling.
  • 10:00 AM - Activities Begin
Scouts will rotate through different stations, each lasting 30 minutes, filled with fun and challenging activities:
  • Tug of War
  • The 6 Essentials
  • Knot Tying (Pioneering)
  • Skit/Song
  • Outdoor Ethics/Nature
  • Archery (permission slip required)
  • Slingshot (permission slip required)
  • BB Rifles (permission slip required)
  • 12:30 PM - Lunch Break
Please bring your own picnic lunch. Remember to clean up after yourselves and help preserve the natural beauty of Camp Herms by following Leave No Trace principles.
  • 1:30 PM - Activities Resume
Continue enjoying the same exciting activities as the morning.
  • 3:30 PM - Camp Clean-Up
A Scout is clean! Join us as we work together to leave Camp Herms spotless after a day of fun.
  • 4:30 PM - Closing: 
We’ve had an amazing day, but it’s time to head home and get some rest. We hope to see you again next year!

Additional Information

We invite all Packs and Troops to participate. In addition to Cub Scout activities, troop-level Scouts will have the chance to practice archery and work on their Archery Merit Badge skills.
